Zombitudine was born in collaboration with Teatro di Roma as part of the project "Perdutamente"

A man and a woman, refugees in a theater together with the public, await the arrival of someone, something: a new beginning? The death? A change? It is not known whether beautiful or ugly, but an event is coming. Or maybe the Zombies are coming.

We are the Zombies. Zombitude is our daily condition. Squeezed between the emergence of an imminent and devastating event and a claustrophobic daily life in which life as a besieged has become normal, it is difficult to focus on danger or salvation.

That of the Zombie is the palingenetic image of our end but also an image of hope, the only prospect of rebirth, the only alternative life form to all this economy, this market, this domain of banks, finance and multinationals. The only possible Risorgimento for our country and its inhabitants is a Zombie Risorgimento.

Zombies from all over the world unite! Zombitudine, or the human condition of today. A history of impotence, impotence, never being able to take a position, but also the feeling of choice of laxity. Faced with the choice, the taking position, we always feel great and warriors, yet often we do nothing but let ourselves be lulled by the inability to decide.
