One person on stage. A woman dressed in white and red. An ironic, amused and desolate look on Sleeping Beauty as a metaphor for these blurred, patinated and narcoleptic times. The title recalls the name of the last Roman party of the democratic party, the former Unity party, a tragic inversion of the usual terms of partisan origin: "Bella ciao".

Proceeding by the accumulation of languages, slips, associations, ellipses, the work moves between the fairy tale and Beatiful, between political slogans and jingles, shopping tips and gravure chats, against the background of the end of the story.

Does Sleeping Beauty no longer face the horizon of awakening? Who will wake her up? A frog, a prince, a general, a top manager, a Prime Minister, a presenter, a murderer, a political slogan?

In this sleep, the performer frames actions, translates positions, embodies imaginary hairpieces, postures, clichés, engages in small dialogues with the public, stages multiple attempts at awakening, closed in the network of objects / fetish that determine their existence in the empty space of the scene. The archetypal figure of Sleeping Beauty dilutes, exposes itself, becomes trivialized, becomes the desolate simulacrum of this sugary and asphyxiated slime, of this bloated and sleepy BelPaese that has in the masked avant-garde media, in the reiteration, in the copy, in the jingle, the cornerstones of an efficient social, political and artistic control system.

Sleeping Beauty is our time, with no horizon of awakening.
