The artist is like the pig: nothing is thrown away. A show on contemporary eating mythologies. A show about the actor: this marginal, pathetic and stubborn sacrificial victim who insists on staging the excess and the ritual waste.

Crossed by ironic visions and words chewed by a constantly moving mouth, it is a show that is offered as a meal to the eyes, essential as a sacrifice: a cake with a candle, a lamb, a crib-barricade, the rituals of the birthday party, the banquet, the orgy, the funeral banquet, investigating the functions of a food that invades our voracious or anorexic society more and more.

Digerseltz is the loss of the relationship with the sacred and with the community. The body on stage that eats and makes itself eat - eat words, gorge on words, indigestion of words - like lambs in the midst of wolves, scapegoat, trivial sacrifice given for meals to the public, with hungry or listless eyes. The actor on stage, marginal in his irreducible alterity, consumes the waste, the excess, the waste, becomes the digestive body, fragile "Digerseltz" of the swallowed reality.

Food as an obsession with our time (all time?); food as a political theme; eating as an irrepressible sustenance, mass cultural practice, obsessive metaphor, self-destructive implosion. Yet still an underground ritual action, linked to the relationship with our body / hunger, with death, with the sacred, with a community.
