Desolate, I was not there when Moro died. Aldo died without my comfort. It was May 9, 1978. I was not yet four years old. When Moro died, I didn't notice. But where was I on 9 May? And what did I do? What was I thinking about? And especially who cares? Is it important what I did and what I thought when I was three and a half years old? Aldo is dead, poor fellow. Aldo Moro, the statesman. That a certain Moro was dead I discovered on television about ten years later, thanks to a film with Volontè. A film with Aldo dead. It took me a while to understand it was based on a true story. Oh my God! Did they kill Moro? And when? Because? And how? They found him in the trunk of the red Renault 4, eleven shots shot point-blank on him. Oh my God! They killed Moro! Ugly bastards. Anyway, patience. Nothing important. Things that happened in the 70s. The revolution had to be done. Who? Brigate Rosse. It was May 9, 1978. I wasn't four yet. Red Brigades, yes. But red in what sense?

An actor born in the 70s, who has no personal memory or memory of those years, starting from the story of the tragic kidnapping of Aldo Moro, epochal trauma that marked the history of the Italian Republic, is confronted with the impact that this event has had in the collective imagination. On stage, together with his body and a few objects, only the will to sink to the neck in a thorny and delicate matter without any rhetoric or pietism.
